Biography:

María de los Ángeles Franco is a Peruvian young professional with experience in the topics of Food Security, Rural Development, Youth, and Environmental and Social Entrepreneurship. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Chemistry from Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP) and a Master in “Coffee Economics and Science” at University of Studies of Udine (UNIUD) in Italy.

 

Maria de los Ángeles is Co- Founder of Circular, a Marketplace for lenders and borrowers based in Lima, Peru. Also, she has worked on the design and implementation of development projects at a national level in the Peruvian Chapter of Young Professional for Agricultural Development (YPARD), the Peruvian Industrial Ecology and Life Cycle Assessment Network (PELCAN), and at an international level in the Organization of American States (OAS).

 

Moreover, Maria de los Angeles has studies on Sustainable Food Value Chain in Zurich University of Applied Science (ZHAW) in Switzerland, Life Cycle Assessment in Santiago de Compostela University (USC) in Spain, and International Environmental Law at American University (AU) in the USA. Her mother tongue is Spanish and she speaks fluent English, French, Italian and Portuguese.
